The story so far...
Scars of Protest was born in 2014 out of a need to work through personal struggles and demons. What started as a form of catharsis became a group of friends who just wanted to have fun, tell stupid jokes and make music that people can relate to.
This culminated in the release of “Celestial” in 2016 which featured collaborations with LST and Christina Rotondo and was supported by a UK tour with End of Daze.
Due to personal reasons the band then took a year long break, losing Jack in the process. The band returned in 2018 with a refreshed line-up and a renewed focus and energy.
Joining the band are Andy and Ryan who each bring amazing talent and all contribute to songwriting.
The band are aiming to release new material throughout 2018 and will be touring the UK.
The aim of the band is clear; to make music that people can relate to. If the music helps one person feel like they aren’t alone, that someone else has been there and it can help them through their struggle, then it’s worth it.
The band have supported: Crazy Town, Our Hollow Our Home, Canvas, Seething Akira, Shields, Create To Inspire, Carcer City, Aurora, Lock & Key, Empires Fade, UK:ID and many more...
Influences range from Nu-Metal, Melodic Hardcore and Djent to 90’s Hip Hop, Thrash and Metalcore.
